“It always seems impossible until it’s done.”
The Well endeavours to drive forward change within Kilkeel and the surrounding areas to support positive mental health and emotional well-being of local people.
We believe timely support should be available and accessible for everyone in times of crisis. We strive to create a supportive community where suicide is no longer an option.

A MASSIVE THANK YOU THIS WEEK TO ALL OUR VOLUNTEERS 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
We are lucky and grateful to have a large, committed group of people working hard every day to do what our community needs. We are a grass roots, community led charity working quietly in the background, keeping people safe from suicide.
Much of the work we do as volunteers goes unnoticed, but every tiny bit of effort is needed and will continue to be vital as we share our knowledge and experience with local communities both here and around us.
As a volunteer, regardless of your role, you are PART of The Well Team. EVERYONE is valued and appreciated.
We will get together later this month to celebrate what we have accomplished together!
Without our volunteers, we couldn’t provide the 24/7 service we do.
Let’s keep up the good work everyone!
